If you do not see your name on the list but have applied for a volunteer, manager, coach, or umpire position please check back throughout the week or you can contact safety@kirklandnational.com

How To Register Get Approved To Volunteer

Step 1: Register

Step 2: Complete Background Check

After registering you'll get an email with a subject line "KIRKLAND NATIONAL LITTLE LEAGUE Background Questionnaire Notification" that contains a link to the JDP background check form

Step 3: Do Abuse Awareness Training

(can be done while waiting on the background check)

This is a new requirement this year and can be done online. Instructions are below.

Instructions: Abuse Awareness Training

  1. Visit https://USABDevelops.com
    1. Click Sign In/Register
    2. Either create an account or sign in if you already have one
      1. It's important that your account is associated with our league so you get credit for taking it
      2. If you are creating an account:
        1. Select Kirkland National LL from the Little League – Local Leagues drop-down menu and click +Join
      3. If you have an existing account, log in, then:
        1. Click your name in the top right corner, select My Account
        2. Click Update My Profile
        3. Select Kirkland National LL from the Little League – Local Leagues drop-down menu and click +Join
        4. Click Update to save
    3. Find the Abuse Awareness for Adults course
      1. Click Education
      2. Select Courses
      3. Click Abuse Awareness for Adults  then +Enroll then Go to Course
    4. Complete the course
    5. To download the certificate for your records
      1. Click your name in the top right corner and select My Account
      2. Select Courses
      3. Scroll to the Abuse Awareness for Adults course and click Download Certificate
    6. Note: If you have completed the Abuse Awareness for Adults course in the past and need an updated certificate, please select the Restart Course button
      1. Click your name in the top right corner and select My Account
      2. Select Courses
      3. Scroll to the Abuse Awareness for Adults course and click Restart Course

Background Check Information

Background checks are initiated once a volunteer completes registration and are required for participation.  If you have not registered yet, please go to the registration page here.

If you registered as a volunteer you should have received an email similar to below.  If you have not received the background check email, check your spam/junk folder or contact safety@kirklandnational.com
